Aaaaaaale Aboooooooard! Western Massachusetts only Brewery Tour Bus!!

Spring is coming fast and Ale Aboard Brewery Tours is filling up fast.

Ale Aboard Brewery Tours is the Brain Child of Northampton's newest Brewery, Brew Practitioners Brewery and Taproom.  Owners Joe and Tanzi have studied the art of craft beer for over a decade and came up with the idea of Ale Aboard Brewery Tours in an effort to continue to bring beer lovers into Western Massachusetts' new, vibrant beer destination. With six breweries within a "Pint" of each other, the Northampton / Easthampton region is a popular destination point for any beer lover, advocate or novice.

Our Tours.......

Our Thursday, Friday or Saturday Tours meet at Florence's newest brewery Brew Practitioners . Feel free to enjoy a pint of our great beer while we assemble the troops and then we load up on our 14 passenger bus for 3 hours of fun.

Our First Stop is a 15 minute bus ride to the impressive Fort Hill Brewery set in the beautiful countryside of Easthampton. This will be the biggest brewery on the tour. Stainless steel abounds in this facility and if we are lucky enough, the Brewer may be able to fit in a tour.  Also look out for live music and fun to be had by all!

Next, with a quick 5 minute bus ride we will visit the Historic Mill 180 building in Easthampton where we will see New City Brewery . Be prepared to be blown away by the old world charm of their restored space. Brick abounds and you can only imagine what the huge crane overhead was used for over 100 years ago.

Just a few hundred yards through the parking lot we will travel to the historic Brickyard Building and Abandoned Building Brewery where you will enjoy a pint just as our forefathers did. In an industrial setting surrounded by brownstones and plank wood floors.

Finally, we head back to Brew Practitioners  Located in the historic Sewing Building in Florence. Come in and sample a beer produced by the smallest brewery on the tour. Enjoy the outside courtyard in the summer and see our high tech, 3BBL brewing system.
The cost is $35 per person. Each bus holds 14 passengers, so invite your friends to come along! All participants must be 21 or older. No exceptions.  Participants are responsible for the purchase of their own beer. Ale Aboard does not supply the beer at the brreweries.

Your $35 gets you.......
  • Complimentary "Bus Refreshments".
  • A guided tour and historical education on Western Mass Breweries and the awesome 100+ year old buildings that house them.
  • Guided Brewery tours from the Brewers that started these breweries.
  • Free 1-2 ounce tasting samples at all breweries to "try before you buy".
  • VIP service at each brewery
  • A 100% guarantee that you will not get a DUI on the tour!

Brew Practitioners Brewery and Taproom in Northampton Massachusetts Proves “Practice Makes Perfect”

Northampton and Florence Massachusetts’ newest Brewery has made quite an impression on the local, funky, artistic community. Not only is Brew Practitioners Brewing their six classic, balanced, drinkable craft beers, they are also putting their artistic prowess to the test and “Practicing” with some other cool recipes.

After the huge success of the Practice “Copper” Double IPA, Brew Practitioners has announced that they will add this 8.3%, 106 IBU beer to their regular rotation. Look for the Copper taping by mid March.

Brew Practitioners "Practice Taps"
What? A Pink Beer? Yep, on the Practice tap for the second time, our Ass Brewer (Short for Assistant Brewer) has our lightest beer, pinkish in color with a hint of strawberry. A big hit so far this February.

If you like Bacon or anything smoked, you will love our “Smoked Bier” practice tap. Brewed with over 50% smoked malts you will love the smoky aroma as well as that smoky bacon flavor!

Brew Practitioners Head Brewer is pleased to release the latest Practice Tap of “Ebony” Maple Oatmeal Stout. Made with real maple syrup from right here in Western Massachusetts. This beer has an awesome woodsy flavor and is flying out of the keg so far.

Stop in at Brew Practitioners. Open Wednesday – Sunday.  Our Practice Batches are only ½ Barrel at a time so they go fast!
