The Impatient Procrastinator....

Today, the electrical inspector said we are good to go and last week the Feds said we are being submitted for approval! I would being doing cartwheels if I could. The brewing equipment is still en route and we are writing our processes and procedures handbooks. Now, on to the State and Local regulators. 
We signed our lease February
14, 2015; and now we are hoping for a mid-August opening date. 6 months. That seems like too much time for a project start-up to me. But, then again I am impatient. I feel like I have been twiddling my thumbs and playing the waiting game. Now the wait is almost over and I have just realized I have so much to do! I am such a procrastinator. Contradictory, I know. An impatient procrastinator. No worries though. I will be ready. Fashionably late, is not late.
Now, if the Ivy would just grow on the patio, freakin’ procrastinator.

A great week for Northampton’s newest brewery

This has been a great week for Brew Practitioners, Northampton’s newest Brewery and Taproom. Not only did we receive the great news from the TTB that we have been submitted for approval, we also finished the electrical work (That was painfully long and tedious). Plumbing is also complete so make sure to come use those brand spanking new, ADA compliant restrooms. 

We have also started receiving equipment. We are proud to boast the we are the first in Western Massachusetts to install the electric Brewmation system. Just look at our fancy touch screen control panel.

When the historic Florence Sewing Machine Company starts making Florence BEER!

There is a lot of history in the Northampton / Florence Massachusetts area. While searching for the perfect location for our new brewery - Brew Practitioners Brewery and Taproom- we stumbled upon the historic Florence Sewing Building and our jaws dropped. A beautiful brick and steel building that was established in 1867. For those history "Novices" out there, Florence has been credited for the invention of many things but the Florence Sewing Machine Company was one of the longest standing companies in the area.

Come see what we have done with this 150 year old building and drink a beer as your great, great Grandpa did. . Check out the awesome steel trusses in the ceiling and the original glass work that still contains 150 year old "Soot".

Brew Practitioners Brewery and Taproom will be pouring pints in August of 2015 inside (and out) of the Historic Florence Sewing Machine Building.
