Who
Would have thought that a little sleepy village in Northampton Massachusetts would
have such a cool venue for fresh beer as well as FRESH music. In October of
2015 Brew Practitioners Brewery and Taproom opened its doors in Florence Massachusetts, a small village
within Northampton. Boasting a wide
variety of balanced and drinkable beer, the brewery was an immediate hit. Brew
Practitioners attracts a great clientele and this small village in Northampton is
now the new “Cool Place” to hang out. “BP” as it is called by the locals is the
place to hang after work, a place to enjoy the sun on the patio and now a great
place to hear live music every week.
Brew
Practitioners Brewery is located in a small brick building that was built in 1865 as
one of the support buildings for the Florence Sewing Machine Factory. The
factory is long gone but these “Old Bones” are still standing and create an “Industrial
Chic-like” setting which is being touted as a great place to play as well as a
great place to enjoy a beer.
One
of the biggest hits of 2016 is Open Mic Night at Brew Practitioners. It takes
place every Wednesday night and what a great bunch of talent it brings in.
Hosted by Alex Johnson, a local musician and awesome guitarist, this weekly
event brings in some great talent from High School aged musicians to the more
experienced and tenured folks. It also draws a great crowd of beer drinkers who
love to sip one of the Brewery’s IPA’s, Stouts or lightest Blond Ale.
If
you Like music, beer, fellowship and fun, Brew Practitioners Brewery and Taproomat 36 Main Street
is the place for you. See you there!
